If you watch television at all you’ve likely seen ads for the latest remake Hollywood is rolling out: Poltergeist. Not unlike most films in the haunting genre, a little girl is being tormented by evil spirits that in this case, can harness your deepest fears. Now if this movie wanted to strike a more truthful chord – it might have some evil ghostly dentists popping out of the shadows just beyond the main character’s view – but conveniently in the background in view of the camera.
